The Executive Agency of VIFC Da Nang Meets International Expert Stephen Glynn: Setting the Legal Standards for Green Finance

During the meeting, the VIFC-DN Executive Agency and Mr. Stephen Glynn discussed in detail the coordination process with relevant organizations to design key components for each green financial product and service.
 

Mr. Stephen Glynn, in his role leading the development of this legal framework, expressed his honor in contributing to a national-level initiative of Viet Nam. He emphasized strengthening the Viet Nam International Financial Center in Da Nang City’s alignment with international standards, enhancing mechanisms to attract green capital flows, and gradually shaping a specialized advantage for sustainable finance at the Viet Nam International Financial Center in Da Nang City.
 

 

In the coming period, the Executive Agency of the Viet Nam International Financial Center in Da Nang City will continue to refine the legal framework based on National Assembly Resolution No. 222/2025/QH15 dated 27 June 2025 and the Government’s guiding decrees. At the same time, it will proactively report to the Executive Council of the Viet Nam International Financial Center and the Da Nang People’s Committee to revise any provisions that fall beyond its authority, with a view to optimizing the investment environment. The city is also implementing a plan to recruit international experts to work directly on-site or to engage consultants on a project-by-project basis to ensure the highest operational quality./.
