VIFC-DN Advances Cooperation with Paris EUROPLACE and Mirova

France, July 2, 2026 - Continuing its investment promotion and international cooperation program in Europe, a delegation from the Viet Nam International Financial Center Executive Agency in Da Nang City (VIFC-DN), led by Mr. Dang Dinh Duc, Standing Vice Chairman of VIFC-DN's Executive Agency, held working sessions with Paris EUROPLACE and Mirova - two leading French organizations in the fields of financial center development and sustainable investment.

These meetings mark an important step in VIFC-DN's internationalization strategy, aimed at building Da Nang into an international financial center with its own distinct identity, anchored in innovation, green finance, sustainable finance, and financial technology (FinTech) as its core pillars of development.

Paris EUROPLACE - Connecting Europe's Leading Financial Ecosystem with VIFC-DN



The VIFC-DN delegation held a working session with Mr. Olivier Vigna, CEO of Paris EUROPLACE, together with investors and members of the Paris EUROPLACE network.

As an organization bringing together French financial institutions, banks, investment funds, businesses, regulatory bodies, and research institutions, Paris EUROPLACE serves as a focal point for promoting the development of the Paris Financial Center, while also connecting international partners in the fields of capital markets, FinTech, green finance, and sustainable finance.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed VIFC-DN's development orientation and cooperation opportunities to support the formation of an international financial ecosystem in Da Nang. Discussions focused on areas such as: research and policy advisory on international financial center development; training and development of high-quality human resources; expert exchange and the organization of international seminars and forums; joint research, database development, and the publication of policy reports; and connecting the FinTech, innovation, green finance, and sustainable finance ecosystems between Da Nang and the Paris EUROPLACE partner network.

Representatives of Paris EUROPLACE spoke highly of VIFC-DN's development orientation as well as Da Nang's potential to become a new international financial center in the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in the fields of sustainable finance, innovation, and human resource development.
Mirova - Opening Opportunities to Attract Sustainable Investment Capital into Viet Nam.

On the same day, the VIFC-DN delegation held a working session with Mirova, one of Europe's leading sustainable investment managers. Mirova was represented by Mr. Olivier Longchamp, Head of Natural Capital Investment and Sustainable Management, and Ms. Priscilla Tay, Investment Manager.



Founded in 2012 and a member company of Natixis Investment Managers, Mirova is now one of the pioneering organizations in impact investing, climate finance, biodiversity, renewable energy, and natural capital management. As part of the Natixis Investment Managers ecosystem - one of the world's largest asset managers - Mirova has built an international reputation by effectively combining financial performance with sustainable development goals and positive environmental and social impact.

At the meeting, the two sides held in-depth discussions on potential cooperation in areas aligned with VIFC-DN's development orientation, including green finance, carbon credits, natural capital investment, the development of nature-based projects, mobilizing international capital for sustainable development projects, as well as the possibility of establishing long-term cooperation mechanisms to support Viet Nam's green transition.

Representatives of Mirova shared international experience in raising and managing sustainable investment funds, while expressing interest in new investment opportunities in Viet Nam, particularly as Da Nang moves toward becoming an international financial center linked to green finance and sustainable development.

Affirming VIFC-DN's Position on the International Financial Map
The working sessions with Paris EUROPLACE and Mirova further affirm VIFC-DN's orientation of proactive international integration in building the Viet Nam International Financial Center in Da Nang City.

Under its development strategy, VIFC-DN aims to become a specialized international financial center, focusing on priority areas including green finance and carbon credits, digital assets and tokenization, fund and asset management, capital and bond markets, and commodity trading - thereby serving as a bridge connecting Viet Nam with global investment capital flows.

Expanding relationships with leading organizations such as Paris EUROPLACE and Mirova not only helps VIFC-DN draw on international experience in building and operating financial centers, but also creates an important foundation for attracting financial institutions, investment funds, businesses, and international experts to participate in the financial ecosystem taking shape in Da Nang.
